ABOUT THE AUTHORSKim Radtke Bannister and Kelli Strobel Chabria met during graduate school at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Both studying TV/Radio/Film, their careers in the field of journalism took them in different directions as the two developed skills, relationships, inspirations and aspirations to one day work together. Upon receiving her M.A., Kim went to work writing the authorized biography on world-renowned restaurateur Phil Romano (Fuddrucker's, Macaroni Grill, EatZi's) while writing freelance for The Dallas Morning News, WHERE Dallas, Dallas Family and Dallas Child. Kelli's passion was behind the television camera and worked as an Assignment Editor at CNN's Dallas bureau. She covered both local and national stories such as the tragedy in Columbine. Kim was one of the first of her friends to get married and soon after, she and her husband Nevin had their daughter Sawyer. Two years later, Kelli and her husband A.J. had a son, Joshua. For years, Kelli and Kim had enjoyed learning and experiencing the many things to do in Dallas. Their friends considered them 'in-the-know', but parenthood changed everything! Kim still felt overwhelmed two years later when her son Ford was born — so many changes in the parenting landscape...so much new information! This is when they decided that it was time to pool resources, share experiences, talk to others and gather research — thus the birth of littleDallas: The Definitive Guide to Life with Little Ones in the Dallas area.
